Tra Co Peninsula

Tra Co is located in the border area of North Viet Nam, adjacent to Dong Hung Town in China and under the administrative management of Tra Co Ward, Mong Cai Town.

* Tra Co beach: is well known for clean, blue sea and smooth, long sand banks, (17km long.)  Sa Vi sand bar is the first point of in the S shape on the map of Viet Nam. Along the beach, a row of casuarina trees stretches for ten kilometers.

* Tra Co Commune House
Built in 1511, its old architecture is of the Le Dynasty. It is a symbolic landmark asserting the country’s cultural sovereignty in the border area of Northeast Viet Nam.

* Nam Tho Pagoda
Erected in the Le Dynasty, it is one of the most valued examples of religious   architecture in the border area.

* Xuan Lan Pagoda:
Located in Trung Hamlet, Hai Xuan Commune, Mong Cai Town, Xuan Lan Pagoda is a significant cultural relic, Its building is a skillful composition of rock and wood, architecture typical of Viet Nam’s traditional pagodas.
